Norwich stunned the PL Champions and Arsenal faltered against Watford

Norwich hosted and stunned Man City:

We just witnessed one of the biggest upsets in the history of the Premier league! A match that reminded me of the masterclass by Jose Mourinho’s Italian champions Inter Milan against Barcelona! That one was over two legs and this one produced so much drama in just a solitary game of 90 minutes! Daniel Furke’s newly promoted side Norwich City defeated the domestic treble winners Man City 3-2.
Man City dominated the game in terms of possession and chances created but Norwich City were more clinical!
Whether it was on the counter attack or a set piece Norwich City were just spot on! The zonal marking of Man City failed in the corner and that led to a goal! Adding to the set piece mistake they made blunders at the back without Laporte and handed Pukki who was in that goalscoring form, yet another matchwinning goal!
Man City huffed and puffed and scored 2 goals but it was not enough on the night.
Norwich City should be applauded for high pressing and they deserved something from the game!
Norwich City fans will be jubilant all night and singing
“Teemu Pukki Baby....Teemu Pukki Oh oh oh oh!

Watford came from behind and points were shared with Arsenal

Let us all take a moment to laugh at Arsenal’s defending yesterday ðŸ¤£
David Luiz tackles in the penalty box when it is not required (like he did against Watford) and does not tackle outside the penalty box when it is required (like he did against Salah of Liverpool). Sokratis is not great and all I can see is him being mad at himself after his mistakes.
Playing out from the back has become difficult for all the teams after the new goal kick rules. Arsenal should have just kicked it long to the likes of Aubamayang and Pepe who are actually doing something good up front this season and not put themselves under unnecessary pressure. It was like making silly mistakes while playing out from the back in Fifa. Man City did the same against Norwich and Arsenal did worse against Watford.
Watford were outplayed and showed absolutely nothing positive in terms of aggression and performance in the first half. But they did so well in the second half that they should have been more clinical and won the game! Its two points lost for them and a point gained for Arsenal from the game!
I wonder what the likes of Steve Bould,Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Lee Dixon, Gallas and all the Arsenal legends from the invincible team think about their current defence.A defense that was rock solid at the back is now more brittle than an Osmania biscuit!
Unai Emery’s substitutions also were not great and made the midfield weak in the second half.
Looking at the way Arsenal are playing, all the effort of Aubamayang this season is being wasted.
Credit to Watford for going for it in the second half despite a terrible first half. They seemed like a team heading towards relegation this season but this draw and the performance in the second half should bring them renewed hope for the remainder of the season.
Yet another dramatic draw in an exciting unpredictable premier league to end the weekend!
